The Garland-Rodes
Camp is a local chapter of the Sons of Confederate Veterans
organization. The Camp is strictly historical and benevolent
and is dedicated to educating it's
membership and the community at large about the history of the War
Between the States and reconstruction. Through this education, the
members present to the
community an accurate picture of the Confederate soldier and the
society to which he belonged. In addition, the chapter fosters camaraderie and citizenship in
it's membership worthy of our Confederate ancestors.
